Join me for the “LIVE from Mother Earth: WOMEN LEAD for CLIMATE JUSTICE” panel at the EarthX Film Festival and Conference. I’ll be moderating a panel including:

V (Formerly known as Eve Ensler) – American playwright, performer, feminist, and activist, best known for her play The Vagina Monologues.

Takota Iron Eyes – Youth leaders from The Standing Rock Sioux tribe and is one of the youth leaders in the “Rezpect Our Water” campaign

Mary Robinson – First woman President of Ireland, former UN Climate Envoy, Chair of the Elders and Author of an important book, Climate Justice.

Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim – Leader of indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad and Co Chair of the UN’s indigenous Communities Climate initiative

Dr. Katharine Wilkinson – Climate scientists, chief research/writer of the best selling book DRAWDOWN and a follow up book on the connections between long term sustainable solutions to climate and the education and empowerment of women.

Tara Houska – A tribal attorney who fights for indigenous rights and Justice, the National Campaigns Director of Honor the Earth

Laura Turner Seydel – Founder of Mothers and Others initiative focused on reconnecting children to nature, Chair of the Captain Planet Foundation which leads on climate education with school based gardens and a member of the League of Conservation Voters.
