Remember when one of the buzzwords at the start of the Covid pandemic was ‘reset’? I used it a lot as I tried to frame the dramatic changes we were all experiencing in the ways we lived and worked, especially during lockdowns and travel bans. Sadly, for way too many of our friends, families and colleagues, this time of isolation has been far from a positive reset. In fact, we are seeing evidence every day that mental and emotional struggles have increased, and families and businesses have had to respond.

Sneak Preview of Arianna Huffington's New Book, The Sleep Revolution

My friend Arianna Huffington's new book, The Sleep Revolution, on the science, history and mystery of sleep, is coming out on April 5th. I'm pleased to be able to share a sneak preview here on my blog, particularly one that looks at how sleep deprivation affects women. As Karen Brody, founder of the meditation program Bold Tranquility, told Arianna, “I coach busy women and this is what they tell me all the time: ‘I spent years getting educated and now I don’t have any energy to work.’”
